David B. Herring is the principal of Herring Realty Advisors, a firm he initially established in Kentucky in 2003 and has operated from Florida since 2013. With over 27 years of experience, David has built a strong record in the valuation and review of agricultural properties along with broad experience in residential and commercial appraisal work. He holds the Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA) designation from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers. He has begun the process toward the Rural Property Review Appraiser (RPRA) designation.
David also earned the SRA designation from the Appraisal Institute in 2012 and the MAI designation in 2016. His background includes valuation of row crop farms, livestock operations, timberland, ag facilities, and mixed agricultural tracts, as well as agricultural, residential, and commercial review work completed for lenders across multiple states. In addition to his rural practice, he continues to handle assignments involving residential and commercial properties for lenders, attorneys, and property owners.
David and his wife Shannon have two daughters and live in the rural countryside near Tavares, Florida.
