Area of Expertise

  • My background features experince in commodity marketing since 1998: specializing in almonds. I also possess an in-depth knowledge of almond hulling/shelling and packing: as well as both domestic and international sales and marketing. With that experience is a solid background in Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point(HACCP): sanitation and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). I also have familiarity with walnuts and pistachios. My previous experience: also in sales and marketing: was with a fortune 500 company in the insurance and financial services industry. During my ten-year tenure with that organziation: I was an independent agent. During that time I was an independent business person: responsible for all aspects of my business. After five-years of successful production: I was recruited to be a classroom trainer: teaching others sales techniques and product knowledge. The remainder of my service to that company was managing a region in Michigan. That territory included nearly 1/4 of the lower portion of the state and 1/2 of the upper peninsula. A full recap of my experience and references are availble upon request.
