Bio

I have appraised rural property since 1981. As a loan officer with the former Farmers Home Administration, Now Farm Services Agency, I learned to appraise primarily row crop farms in Central Ohio. I have had my own business since 1985. Making my way through becoming an Accredited Rural Appraiser, I earned the ARA designation in 1993 simultaneously with the Kentucky Certified General Appraisal license. My husband and two daughters have assisted with office work and business management along the way. The kids have shown Saddlebred horses and I am acquainted with the horse business. Since receiving the ARA, appraisals assignments have become more and more complex as I have performed multi-parcel appraisals for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, rails to trails programs, Department of Justice, along with many park expansions and conservation related projects. Yellow Book, the short term for the Uniform Standards for Federal Land Acquisitions is required for much of my work. My portfolio also includes helping many individuals and corporations value their real estate assets for business and tax purposes. Quality and integrity are assured. My two associate trainees and I would be glad to help with your real estate valuation needs.
