Timothy W. Sletten is a Certified General Appraiser in the State of South Dakota. Timothy Sletten has been appraising full time since January 2017 under the training and mentorship of Tom Meekins. During this period, he has appraised over 510 agricultural properties totaling over 380,000 acres in South Dakota. Properties appraised range from 20-acre tracts of land to over 7,600 plus acre complex farms.
He has also appraised over 160 commercial properties in South Dakota. These properties include motels, retail stores, service repair buildings, manufacturing/industrial plants, warehouse/storage structures, automobile dealerships, convenience stores, agronomy centers and fertilizer chemical plants, airport hangars, veterinarian hospitals, bar & grilles, restaurants, physical therapy offices, medical office buildings, campgrounds, hunting lodges, general office buildings, duplexes, triplexes and multifamily apartment complexes, bare commercial land, and subdivision development.
He has taken over 300 hours of real estate appraisal coursework.
He is a practicing affiliate of the Appraisal Institute, a member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers and a member of the Professional Appraisers Association of South Dakota.

Have appraised for South Dakota State Fair, United States Marshall Service,
US Department of Fish and Wildlife, Ducks Unlimited, Private individuals for IRS qualified donation purposes.
