I currently serve as part of the Farm Service Agency's national appraisal team, being the Missouri Staff Appraiser. My duties include developing real estate appraisals, completing appraisal review services and providing interagency support to the state and county lending staff. I previously served as a fee appraiser that provided appraisal services to a variety of clients. I am specialized in rural property, which can include farms, personal property, rural residences, or commercial structures. I have worked with a variety of clients including attorneys, conservation groups, lenders, individuals and institutional investors. I also have experience with yellow-book standards that may apply during eminent domain or conservation easement assignments. I am actively working towards a MAI and ARA designation to compliment my prior experience. I previously earned a bachelors degree at the University of Missouri in an ag-related field. Prior to that, I spent my formative years on a grain production farm in northwest Missouri. I currently reside in central Missouri with my wife and daughter. We enjoy traveling, spending time with friends and long weekends at home.
