KY Chapter | Appraising Ag Facilities: Poultry Seminar

Starts:  Sep 28, 2017 08:00 AM (MT)
Ends:  Sep 29, 2017 02:00 PM (MT)

Kentucky Farm Managers and Rural Appraiser are invited to attend a social and educational experience in Bowling Green, KY September 28th and 29th.  This will be a time to slow down with your family, network, and learn a few things Kentucky has to offer.

One of the most difficult assignments an appraiser will encounter is the valuation of an agricultural facility. The Poultry Seminar reviews the underlying appraisal theory relative to facility appraisals and then apply the theory specifically to the valuation of a poultry farm. In this seminar, there will be discussion as to what is actually being valued in an agricultural facility, review applicable terminology, discuss the overall appraisal process beginning with problem identification, then walk through a real-world example detailing sales analysis and following through all the traditional approaches to value.  Lunch will be provided during the seminar.
