Travis Anderson, Senior Appraiser at Heritage Land Bank, began his appraisal career in Central Texas in 2007. Two years later he moved to East Texas where he is native to and currently resides. Travis is responsible for the Bank’s internal evaluations, appraisal reviews, and provides consultations. He is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser (TX-1380203 G) and has also earned his Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA) designation. Travis has over 10 years of experience in the valuation of all types of real estate, and specializes in rural and/or agriculturally related properties. Past assignments include properties throughout the State of Texas, with primary focus on the East and Northeast Texas markets. Travis is currently serving a three-year term on ASFMRA’s Education and Accreditation Committee and a two-year term on Smith County Appraisal District’s Advisory Committee. Travis graduated from Tarleton State University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agribusiness. He and his wife, Holly, have one son. The Andersons are active members of Cross Brand Cowboy Church in Tyler, Texas.
