The culminating experience of the Leadership Excellence Program

Topics and events will include the following or similar:

• Meetings with Administration officials to discuss current issues in farm management and property evaluation.
• Past meetings have included the Secretary or Deputy Secretary of Agriculture, USDA program administrators, the Office of Management and Budget, and the Farm Credit Administration.
• Meetings with decision makers on Capitol Hill, including the Chair of the House Agriculture Committee, Congressional Representatives active on agriculture issues, and key committee staff.
• Opportunities to engage with agriculture policy influencers, including commodity and farm group representatives and Farm Credit Council leaders. Appraisers will also have the opportunity to meet with Appraisal Foundation staff.
• Social and networking opportunities, including an opening reception, group dinner, night trolley tour of DC, optional social activity, and group photos at the Capitol.
• Visits with your Congressional delegation in both the House and Senate.
  
  

Lodging: Royal Sonesta Washington, DC Capitol Hill

Transportation: Flights and airport transportation are at the cost of the attendee. Cabs, ride share, and the Metro are all convenient options from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport.

Registration Details

• Attendance at LEX 2.0 is required, with exceptions considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Participation is first come, first served. Additional registrants will be placed on a waitlist.
• Event cost is $1,595 per person, with accommodations included.

Registration includes the following or similar:

• Three nights at the recently opened 4.5-star Royal Sonesta Washington, DC Capitol Hill
• A private night trolley tour or similar experience for the LEX group
• Two group social dinners and most other meals
• Learning opportunities with Administration officials, Capitol Hill decision makers, and leading agriculture policy influencers
