Ben Maddox, AFM - SVP of Business Development, Acres

Ben serves as the SVP of Business Development AcreTrader's mapping and land intelligence products, Acres. He joined AcreTrader in 2019 to lead the company's investment efforts, completing $300m of farm and timberland investments during his tenure as Director of Acquisitions. He is an Accredited Farm Manager, Accredited Land Consultant and licensed Broker in the State of Arkansas. He holds active Series 63, 79, and 82 licenses with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and completed his MBA at the University of Arkansas Walton College of Business.

Aaron Shew – VP of Data Science, Acres

Dr. Aaron Shew is the VP of Data Science at Acres where he works with a team of software engineers, data scientists, and land experts to build advanced land analytics tools. Dr. Shew has master’s degrees in geography and agricultural economics and a doctorate in environmental dynamics from the University of Arkansas. He has more than 15 years of experience in the agriculture industry with 10 years focused on agricultural production and geospatial technologies.
