Farmland Values in the Heartland: Key Findings and Q&A

Join Acres for a discussion on their recently released Farmland Values: Heartland Report. Ben Maddox, VP of Business Development, and Dr. Aaron Shew, Data Science Director, will break down key findings and how the report was created using over 37,000 recorded land transactions from Acres’ curated sales database. This webinar will include a live Q&A.

 

Speakers:
Ben Maddox serves as the VP of Business Development for Acres’ mapping and land intelligence products. He is an Accredited Farm Manager and licensed Broker in the State of Arkansas. He has completed over $300 MM of farm and timberland transactions in 20 states. He holds active Series 63, 79, and 82 licenses with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and completed his MBA at the University of Arkansas' Walton College of Business.

 

Dr. Aaron Shew is the Data Science Director at Acres where he works with a team of software engineers, data scientists, and land experts to build advanced land analytics tools. Dr. Shew has master’s degrees in geography and agricultural economics and a doctorate in environmental dynamics from the University of Arkansas. He has more than 15 years of experience in the agriculture industry with 10 years of research experience focused on agricultural production and geospatial technologies.
