Cost Approach Applications
This seminar is designed to strengthen an appraiser's understanding of the Cost Approach and its critical role in the appraisal process, specifically for rural properties. Participants will review the procedures used to develop a value opinion in this approach, with an emphasis on effectively interpreting and applying market data. The course will introduce and reinforce key concepts that include analyzing market data, estimating land and site value, identifying sources for cost data, developing market-supported depreciation rates and applying and reconciling these rates to rural properties.
