From unique Arizona-inspired experiences to social gatherings and leisure activities, our guest program offers the perfect balance of fun, exploration, and relaxation while your conference attendee participates in educational sessions. We encourage you to reserve activities in advance, as many experiences have limited availability and are expected to fill quickly. We look forward to helping make your time in Arizona memorable!

Candle Making

Candle Making with Cactus Vine Design

Join Brigid of Cactus Vine Design for a fun, hands-on candle-making experience! Create a one-of-a-kind candle by selecting your favorite colors, scents, glitter, and other custom touches. These personalized candles make wonderful gifts just in time for the holiday season—or a special keepsake for yourself.

Guests should schedule a time block and arrive within the first hour of the time block. Depending on the individual, candles are expected to take 30–60 minutes to create their candle. Guests can arrive & depart as they start/finish on their own time.

We recommend reserving your spot during registration to guarantee availability and receive discounted pricing. Walk-ins are welcome based on remaining materials and space and you may pay directly onsite at the event rate.

Paint the State of Arizona with Prickle and Pine Designs

Create a unique Arizona-inspired keepsake during this fun and creative painting experience led by Brigitte, owner of Prickle and Pine Designs. Attendees will paint a wooden board shaped like the state of Arizona and select from two exclusive design options.

Two sessions will be offered: Session 1: 9:00-11:00am | Session 2: 1:00-3:00pm

Space is limited and expected to sell out, so attendees are strongly encouraged to reserve their spot in advance as part of conference registration. Pre-registration not only secures the lowest ticket price but also guarantees your spot and materials.

Walk-ins are welcome onsite; however, participation will be subject to remaining space and available supplies. Whether you're an experienced painter or simply looking for a relaxing activity with fellow attendees, this is a great opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind souvenir from your time in Arizona.

Wigwam Spa

LeMonds Spa at The Wigwam

Take time to relax and recharge with exclusive spa services at LeMonds Spa at The Wigwam. This is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a restorative massage during your Annual Conference experience.

ASFMRA attendees receive a 10% conference discount (already applied to rate), and gratuity is already included in the listed price, so no additional tipping is required onsite. To ensure availability and secure your preferred treatment time, all spa appointments must be reserved in advance through conference registration.

Please note that spaces are limited and appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis. No refunds will be provided after October 15, 2026, and no appointment changes or modifications may be made onsite or on the day of your scheduled service.

Please note – nail appointments are pedicure & manicure only. LeMonds does not remove or add any artificial surface aside from gel nail polish.

Cap off your day in Old Town Scottsdale with an exclusive wine tasting experience at Los Milics Vineyards Tasting Room. This optional add-on invites attendees to relax, unwind, and sample five handcrafted wines while enjoying the warm atmosphere of one of Arizona’s premier tasting destinations.

Whether you're a seasoned wine enthusiast or simply looking to experience something new, this tasting offers the perfect ending to a day of shopping, sightseeing, and exploring Scottsdale with fellow attendees.

Found a favorite? Wine purchases will be available onsite, and bottles can be shipped directly to your home, so there's no need to worry about packing them in your luggage or transporting them back to the resort on the bus.
