Once again the Oregon Chapter was able to award scholarships to three students in the Agricultural and Resource Economics program at Oregon State University. The scholarships were presented to the students at the Undergraduate Recognition luncheon May 4, 2018.
Meet the Students:
Jonathan grew up in a small town in Oregon on a farm that raised cattle. During the summer months, he helps his father grow alfalfa and grass hay for the cattle herd.
Besides attending college, Keaton is helping on his family's farm east of Corvallis. He's an active Young Life Leader in Albany, and a 4th generation member of a 4-H club.
Tyler has been a wild land firefighter for the OR. Dept. of Forestry during the summer months. He has set up an internship with Valley Agronomics, LLC.
