Dave GaNun has been involved in rural real estate appraising and agricultural financing for over 40 years. He attained the Accredited Rural Appraiser (ARA) designation from the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers in 1994. He is a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser in the State of New Jersey. He received a BS in Animal Science with a Minor in Resource Economics
from the University of New Hampshire. He has been employed by the Farm Credit System for the past 33 years and recently retired. He is now a part-time contract appraiser for Farm Credit East, ACA. He appraises in New Jersey. His areas of expertise
include greenhouse facilities, equine facilities, conservation easements and other eased properties. Prior to Farm Credit, Dave worked with USDA - Farmers Home Administration. He was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Fiji, working with their Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries. He has lived and worked
throughout New Jersey and currently resides in rural Hunterdon County with his wife, Moira, a teacher. They have two fully fledged children. He has traveled the world extensively and enjoys gardening, bicycling, and wine tasting. He was ASFMRA President for 2017/2018 and is Member of the Board of Trustees of The Appraisal Foundation 2020 - 2022.
