Bio

Paul E. Bierschwale, ARA, received both his B.S. Degree in Agricultural Economics and M.Ag. Degree in Real Estate Economics from Texas A&M University. He has been active in field appraising of all types of real property since 1977. Mr. Bierschwale joined the American Society in 1977 and received his ARA designation in 1981. As a Certified Instructor for the American Society, he has instructed all the qualifying education for the ASFMRA and most continuing education seminars. He has also taught classes for the Production Credit Association, the Appraisal Institute and the American Society of Appraisers. In addition to instructing for the American Society, he was President of the Texas Chapter of the ASFMRA in 1987 and has served on the Legislative Committee at both the national and chapter levels of the American Society. He also served as President of the Texas Appraiser Coalition. Mr. Bierschwale served on the ASFMRA Appraisal Review, Young Professionals and Education Committees and was President of the American Society in 2006. Bierschwales family includes sons Aaron and Justin, both accredited ARAs with ASFMRA, and their Mother, Debbie who has held the family together since 1973. Both Aaron and Justin work and share ownership in Bierschwale Land Company, a full service family real estate business. Paul is also active in his community and church, serving on many civic organizations and as a ruling elder of First Presbyterian Church of Junction. Paul and Debbie live on the family ranch he grew up on, in the same house his grandparents lived in.
