  • Farm values stabilizing in region

    ​An agricultural lending organization says farmland values are stabilizing in Nebraska and three other states it serves.
    Farm Credit Services of America said Monday in a report that average farm sale prices rose slightly in Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota in 2017. Wyoming did not have enough sales to identify a trend.
    The report said that the increase in average sale prices generally was due to more sales of higher-quality farm ground than in 2016.
