Jeffrey Hignight, AFM, ALC is a professional farm manager, real estate broker, and partner at Glaub Farm Management, LLC. His role is to provide farm property management, consultation, budget and investment analysis, crop marketing, and real estate services to clients throughout the Mississippi Delta Region. He is a licensed real estate broker in Arkansas and Mississippi.
Prior to joining Glaub Farm Management, Jeffrey worked at the University of Arkansas Rice Research and Extension Center (RREC) near Stuttgart as a research associate. His duties included working with faculty to analyze the economics of agronomic studies and assisted in the development of annual crop enterprise budgets.
Jeffrey earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business with a Minor in Real Estate and Insurance from Arkansas State University and earned a Master of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Arkansas.
Since joining Glaub Farm Management in 2010, Jeffrey has earned the status of Accredited Farm Manager (AFM) through the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA). In 2013, he completed the Lead Arkansas (LeadAR) program which is a two program developed by the UA Cooperative and Extension Service for emerging Arkansas leaders from rural and urban communities. In 2016 he earned the status of Accredited Land Consultant through the Realtors Land Institute (RLI). Jeffrey is a member of ASFMRA, RLI, National Association of Realtors, Southern Agricultural Economics Association, Jonesboro Young Professional Network, and a lifetime member of the American Soybean Association. Jeffrey enjoys outdoor activities ranging from hunting, fishing, hiking, and sporting events. Jeffrey is dedicated to helping his clients achieve their goals and objectives whether it be buying, selling, or improving their farmland income and asset value.
