I have been appraising in Northern New York for 24 years. I started out working in a residential and rural appraisal practice in central and western St. Lawrence County. This evolved into a partnership, which specialized in rural residential and commercial appraisal across northern New York. From 2004-2011 I continued appraising in second partnership. In 2011 I joined Farm Credit East, ACA and have concentrated my appraisal practice on agricultural and rural properties.
Prior to my appraisal career, I operated a family dairy farm in the town of Lisbon for eight years after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Geology from St. Lawrence University. I have also been a trained certified logger and operated a low impact logging business in St. Lawrence County.
I enjoy riding my motorcycle on long distance tours and work as a professional pyrotechnician around the 4th of July and several other weekends each year in the Cape Cod and New England Areas.
My wife and I reside in Potsdam, NY and we have three sons and two grand children. Two of our sons have followed dad into working for Farm Credit East.
