Join the YPN Leadership Committee for a half-hour webinar on groundwater management, featuring expert speaker David Orth. Orth possesses 40 years of experience in consulting, financial and management roles in the water industry, and will provide a high-level overview of groundwater management, explaining its importance in sustaining both production and markets across the US. He will also explore the role of government regulation in ensuring effective and sustainable management practices. YPN Committee Vice-Chair Danielle Harris will also provide a brief National update. Speaker Bio:
David Orth is principal of David Orth Consulting, LLC, which offers strategic water resource analysis and planning. Orth has nearly 40 years of consulting, financial and management experience, serving previously as a partner at New Current Water and Land, LLC, general manager of the Kings River Conservation District, as executive officer of Friant North Authority and in the director of finance and general manager positions at Westlands Water District. Orth sat as a member of the California Water Commission, appointed by Governor Brown in 2014, until his term expired in January 2018.
