The Business of Renewables: Income Structures and Opportunities | Webinar

This webinar will provide an overview of wind and solar energy projects, from their inception to operation. Attendees will learn about the basics of wind and solar energy, the technical aspects of these projects and the myths and misconceptions surrounding renewable energy sources.

Additionally, this presentation will explore the available income structures for landowners interested in leasing land for wind and solar projects, as well as the opportunities available to farm managers and rural appraisers. Attendees will gain a better understanding of the technical, financial and practical aspects of wind and solar energy projects, enabling them to help their clients make more informed decisions regarding renewables.

Speakers: Judd Rogers is the VP of Development for the New Projects Team at Scout Clean Energy. He is focused on strategic planning and successfully building a pipeline of wind, solar, and battery storage projects across the US. Judd has over 12 years of experience developing renewable energy projects as far north as Nova Scotia and as far south as Chile. 

Anna Buongiorno is a Senior Project Manager on the New Projects Team at Scout Clean Energy and has been developing wind and solar projects across the country for over eight years, and has worked with landowners to get over 10,000 acres under contract for renewable energy.
