This course is designed to be practical and is intended to assist both the experienced appraiser and the beginning appraiser. The material is divided into sections that provide a brief discussion of the basic principles underlying each of the three approaches to value, highest and best use and other pertinent material. Most of the classroom time will be devoted to working through real-world rural based appraisal problems and short case studies with time allotted to allow students to work closely with the instructor on specific concepts and principles to solidify their understanding. A financial calculator is a necessity to work though most of the work problems.YPN Golf ScrambleMay 225:00 pm tee time
The Young Professional’s Network (YPN) of the ID-UT chapter is planning a 9-hole networking golf scramble on May 22nd at Canyon Springs Golf Course. All members, non-members, and spouses are invited to attend. Craig Warren Appraisal has generously offered to sponsor the event and will pay for the first 25 members who sign up. If you aren’t one of the first 25 then the cost will be $20 per participant which includes the green fee and cart rental. Everyone will be responsible to provide their own golf clubs; rentals are $10 if needed. We will be on teams of 4 and will play “best ball,” so you don’t need to worry about your skill level. This will be a great opportunity to get to know other members of our chapter in a fun, informal setting. For any questions, please contact Trevor Knudsen at (208) 749-1648. Hope to see you there! http://www.canyonspringsgolf.com/
