CA Chapter | Best Practices for Rural Property Appraisals

When:  Oct 15, 2020 from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM (PT)
Associated with  California Chapter of ASFMRA
This course will be delivered as a Live Broadcast Seminar

This course was initially developed to address issues related to the completion of agricultural appraisals using those techniques deemed “best practices”. In its updated format, the goal is to build on the high-quality education already being provided by the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers (ASFMRA), and to have appraisers adhere to the highest standards as they pertain to the completion of appraisal assignments. ‘Best Practices’ is intended to reinforce the need to continually question the use of existing techniques and methodology, promote innovation, and improve the quality of reports being completed by rural property appraisers. It is designed to help the appraiser to consistently exceed the expectations of intended users. The class will include interactive case studies as well as active student participation. Users of rural property appraisal reports will benefit from more thorough, readable reports and reliable, well supported valuations. Those taking the course will benefit from increased confidence and perceived value in appraisal results and improved reputation for quality and professionalism.
