Wigwam Gold Course

Annual Conference Golf Tournament at The Wigwam Gold Course

Thursday, November 5

Join fellow attendees for a fun and friendly golf tournament on The Wigwam's acclaimed Gold Course. This Team Scramble event will feature a shotgun start at 8:15 AM, with all golfers beginning play simultaneously from assigned holes across the course.

Tournament Format 

  • The tournament will be played in a Team Scramble Format, designed to encourage camaraderie and friendly competition. 

  • Teams should consist of four golfers, although teams of three are acceptable if needed. 

  • Participants are welcome to create their own teams and request pairing preferences with colleagues or friends. To request teams, contact lschafer@asfmra.org 

  • Players who do not request teams will be assigned to their foursome.  

Arrival & Tournament Operations 

  • Please plan to arrive at the golf course no later than 7:30 AM to allow time for check-in, warm-up, and pre-round announcements. 

  • The Wigwam golf staff will manage all tournament operations, including: 

  • Assigning starting holes 

  • Organizing the tournament structure 

  • Preparing golf carts 

  • Providing printed rules and tournament guidelines 

  • Assisting players onto the course 

  • Following play, the golf staff will collect scorecards, tabulate results, and provide final standings for winner announcements. 

What's Included 

  • Green fees include a golf cart and access to The Wigwam's driving range. 

  • Beverage cart service will be available throughout the tournament, and snack shops are conveniently located around the course. 

  • Due to overseeding, the course is currently cart path only, but remains in excellent playing condition. 

Club Rentals & Storage 

  • Rental clubs are available for those traveling without their own. Simply arrive approximately one hour before the tournament and check in with the golf shop. Advance reservations are not required. 

  • Golfers may bring their own clubs or ship them directly to The Wigwam golf shop prior to arrival. 

  • Complimentary club storage is available throughout your stay. 

Whether you're a competitive golfer or simply looking to enjoy a memorable morning with colleagues and friends, this tournament is a great way to network, experience one of Arizona's premier golf courses, and enjoy some friendly competition before the conference begins.

Golf at the Wigwam Red Course

Saturday, October 31

Enjoy an afternoon on The Wigwam's renowned Red Course with tee times reserved between 1:00 PM and 1:24 PM. 

Registration Details 

  • Golfers will be assigned to foursomes, and tee times will be scheduled accordingly. The first foursome will tee off at 1:00 PM, followed by tee times every 8 minutes. To request who's in your foursome, email lschafer@asfmra.org 

What's Included 

  • Green fees, golf cart, and access to the driving range are included with your round. 

  • Beverage cart service is available throughout the day, and snack shops are conveniently located around the course. 

Additional Information 

  • Due to overseeding, the Red Course is currently cart path only, but remains in excellent playing condition.

  • Green fees typically range from $100-$120 per person
